What to Expect

Rhone Blends are generally based on Grenache, though some blends may be predominantly Syrah or Mourvedre. The fact that these wines are blends gives the winemakers unusual flexibility in creating a finished wine. In the Southern Rhone Valley of France the styles can range from light, fruity, soft Cotes du Rhone to big, bold, age worthy Chateaunuef-du-pape. This blend is also very popular in Australia and the United States where they frequently go by the Moniker GSM (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre) and exhibit the rich, bold fruit that both countries are famous for.

Interesting red wine made with a blend of chardonnay, light and dry. Serve chilled. Great with BBQ.

Fresh, fruity rose wine, Rhone style. Unique blend of selected reds: Merlot, Syrah and a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon; along with Chardonnay and Colombard. Bright aromas of rose petal, strawberry jam. Citrus and bing cherry. Rich cherry and berry flavors and a touch of sweetness highlight this round flavorful wine. The ideal bridge between white and red wine, to share with friends that wish they would like red wine - but they do not. Pair with salads, salmon and also an ideal match for b-bque and very spicy foods. Best slightly chilled.

One of the only reds my husband will drink; very nice while sitting outside watching the grass grow at a barbecue.
