Cabernet Franc, along with Sauvignon Blanc, is a parent of the more famous Cabernet Sauvignon. Quite similar in many ways to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc tends to have higher acid and lighter tannins than its offspring, with fruit in the redder end of the spectrum and a distinctive, aggressive herbal note that can dominate the wine's aromas.

Inky, deep red and purple color. Sweet, concentrated aromas of candied cherries, highlighted by hints of coffee, and brown sugar. A very soft, seductive entry opens to flavors of ripe fruits, vanilla, cinnamon and clove. This Cabernet Franc displays a very rich, round and fleshy mid-palate, whose finish is framed by generous soft tannins. 100% Cabernet Franc.
