Deep purple color. Very aromatic with flavors of overripe fruit. Full-bodied with immediate fruit sensations of tangerines, prunes, chocolate, and reglisse. Obviously made with very ripe grapes. Smooth tannins; not too ethylic; many delicious layers of fruit; and a long slightly peppery finish. The wine is 5 years old and may have some sediment; this is a natural product that does not impair the quality of this wine. A delicious new world Shiraz that can be cellared for 2 to 5 years. Goes well with big dishes. Should be tried by all Shiraz afficionados!
