An oak-matured Chenin Blanc that is developing beautifully.

Deep golden color. Aromas of vanillin and carnation. Full-bodied with generous fruit flavors and a fairly full “White Burgundy” structure. Long finish on fruit and vanillin. Can be cellared for another 7 to 10 years, developing complex honeyed characteristics. Ideal with white meats with sauces or with spicy Asian cuisines.

THE PEEL region of Australia has limestone soils, and, with vineyards just over a mile from the Indian Ocean, experiences mild winters and relatively cool summers. Peel tends the vines (pruning and harvesting) by-hand, before aging this wine in oak for 12 months.
