Peel Cabernet is always a deep black-red, immediately indicating depth of character and long life. The bouquet is rich and herbaceous with a brooding character seen in many of the great Médoc wines. The fruit flavors are typically Cabernet - mulberries, blackberries, but there is richness in Peel Cabernet which allows it to develop over 5 to 6 years. Try to keep some bottles for aging!

Deep garnet color; aromatic with great red berries aromas, leather and cassis. Medium to full-bodied with instant grip of delicious fruit. Strong ethyls, solid structure and smooth tannins which will continue to soften. Long finish on sweet fruit. This wine can be cellared for 5 to 7 years. Ideal with red meats and strong cheeses. More a table wine due to its power.
