Pedroncelli Port Blend Dry Creek Valley Four Grapes Port 2003
Deep purple in color. Ripe berries, caramel and toffee aromas lead to a flavorful dessert wine with spicy clove, raspberry and cream soda highlights. A very complex and rich dessert wine. This port will gain nuances over the years and will be enjoyed with great reward. The 1990 Port (recently tasted) is showing some fine tawny-like characteristics and holding its flavor wonderfully.
Opens with a chemical nose. This is fairly light for a port, and has surprisingly low sugar. 20% alcohol. Notes of blueberry, although its hot. Finishes on notes of bitter chocolate powder.

Wine Tasting NotesPretty purple color with slight brick-toned edge. Aromas of dried fig, toffee and soy. Very fruity in the mouth - grapey, raspberry and cream soda. Hints of mocha, chocolate and vanilla spice round out the flavors. Very complex and rich. This port will gain nuances into 2025 and should be enjoyed with great reward.
