Delicious. Elegant and bracing, with intense herb, olive and apple flavors along with a whiff of salt air. It finishes beautifully, with a round, almond note. -Wine Spectator Domecq Manzanilla is a special, very delicate type of Fino sherry made from Palomino grapes grown in cooler vineyards nearer the Spanish seacoast. It is then solera aged under a layer of flor yeast in bodegas in the coastal town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Here, the lower temperatures and higher humidity creates a thicker, more even flor layer, resulting in a pale, dry sherry that is at once pungent yet delicate, with a hint read more...

Light, dry with an almondy taste. Obviously an aperitif wine - bone dry. Some flor taste. OK finish. (Tasted as part of a marathon at the Wines from Spain trade event.)

A delicate style of sherry made from Palomino grapes grown in the cooler coastal vineyards. A dry, almost salty sherry that makes an excellent aperitif with salted nuts, olives and seafood.
