This is the result of the Cabernet Sauvignon blending component. You'll notice nuances of pepper, black cherry and plum. The tannins are silky and liner long enough to enhance the finish and are soft enough to allow this wine to go it alone. Suggested pairings would be Duck in a raspberry reduction sauce, or Beef Tenderloin in a mushroom demi-glace.
