Another fine vintage for this rock-solid Dolcetto that sings with pizza, pasta, and grilled fish. It's racy and taught with intense tangy raspberry and wild cherry aromas and flavors and just a touch of licorice. Solid grip on the finish where a hint of herb tea shows through. Not much comes into the US (less than 500 cases), so grab it while you can!
In a special area for the making of Dolcetto wine, the Pecchenino brothers want to achieve a high-quality production standard. Around 25 hectares of vines, farmed without insecticides and using the best and most modern techniques.
