Pretty fruity and spicy on the nose with a hint of juniper, Chinato spice notes and holiday spice cake aromas. Nicely balanced and intense on entry with fine tannins and lovely balance. This is on the elegant side of things with nice height in the mouth, fine balsamic fruit, a little camphor and a lifted finish. Aromatic finish shows lovely complexity and inner mouth perfumes. 90pts

Nice fruit, soft, slightly caramelized, a touch of banana, mostly cherry and sandlewood though. Tough in the mouth, lean, ungenerous, nice small red fruits, quite woodsy, hard licorice spice. Not too bad with some promise, but small and simple.
