High-toned raspberry and cherry fruit aromas and flavors. Intriguing notes of orange peel and fine-grained tannins. Very smooth. Lighter in the mid-palate than the Pomarium.
Pleasant raspberry and dark chocolate aromas and flavors, with a tangy mid-palate and a little bit of mushroom and earth on the finish.

Medium red. Bright red berry, rose and baking spice scents are deepened by mocha and spicecake. Sappy raspberry and bitter cherry flavors are braced by zesty minerality and become sweeter with air. A late jolt of blood orange adds energy and cut to the long, juicy finish of this essentially silky wine. International Wine Cellar, May Jun 08
Winemaker's Notes:
In the 2010, beautiful aromas of orange rind and red fruits are framed by tea, deep forest, and mushroom notes. The flavors in the mouth are similar though a brass and deep, tart, cherry note combine with the earthy, dried pine needle aromas. This is an incredibly well-balanced and appealing wine with low alcohol and focused fruit. The finish is clean and long. Really a superb wine. Age for 3-9+ years.
