Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Jammy, dark berries on the nose with a hint of topsoil. Initial attack of jammy fruit followed by moderate tannins and a medium length peppery finish. Not overly complex, but would be great with grilled food and is very easy to drink,

Bright chewy fruit mild acid and a well rounded and lingering full fruit finish. Winemaker indicates that it is oak-aged though oak flavor is mild and nicely balanced with the soft tannins. This is a very approachable and food friendly wine.

For the price, a great buy. Nice zin taste with the pepper and spice. Good weekday red. I saw bargain in the tags...no doubt. Grab a couple of these for the times you want a glass but don't want to crack your over $20 stash.

This is a great everyday zinfandel! Decant it and it is even better.
