The 2010 Albarino was aged in small stainless steel vats sur lie with batonnage for 4 months. Jasmine, mineral, lemon zest, and other citrus notes inform the nose of this multi-dimensional, already complex white. On the palate tropical flavors emerge... Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. Winemaker's Notes:

Pazo Señorans is made with 100% Albariño grapes that grow on 35-year old vines in 20 acres of lovingly cared vineyards that receive the sea breeze from the Atlantic Ocean. Upon arrival at the winery, grapes are destemmed and crushed in a pneumatic press where they undergo a quick decantation and short maceration. Fermentation takes place in medium-sized, double-jacket stainless steel tanks at a constant temperature of 18ºC.

Tasting Notes:

Some leesy and nutty hints hide among the wine's bright fruit flavors: peach, yellow apple, and dried tropical fruits. The lees contact pushes those yellow apples into riper red apple flavors, along with a toasted almond note. This is a very interesting version of a grape many people wouldn't necessarily recognize in this guise.
