Dark fruit including plum and black currant. Woody notes with a little bit of vanilla too. Medium-light body with substantial, mouth-drying tannins and a nice touch of an acidic edge as well. Seems to me like there is quite a bit of merlot in the blend. My favorite part about this wine is the structure, I really like the way the elements of this wine come together on the palate. I would give this wine a high 3.5 out of 5.
