Dark fruit and spice with a pleasant medium tannin bite. Long pleasant finish.
2nd bottle - very meaty, earthy with a real animal smell. Nice, but not typical meritage stuff. Very burgundian
An earthy nose, very licoricey. Lots of dark baked fruits and earth notes - a real left bank bordeaux style wine. Very meaty.
Top Long Island wine. Complex and totally worth it if you can hold off on opening the wine a little while.
