Paul Pernot et Ses Fils Santenay 'Bieveau' 2011

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

a lovely delicate color, quite spicy nose with smoky soil tones and a bit of dark, paprika laced chorizo and a bit of blood, very soft and juicy entry with mouthwatering acidity, a modest touch of tannins which seem a bit hard, strong mid-palate of crunchy, wild strawberry fruit, the finish is relatively long with notes of iron and violets. Neither particular complex nor powerful but satisfying
