Terroir:Jaboulet Crozes Hermitage Rouge Les Jalets is sourced from vineyards located primarily on the plains of the appellation. Vines average 25 years old and yields are low.Vinification:Les Jalets Rouge is 100% Syrah vinified in stainless steel at very cool temperatures. Following fermentation the wine is in stainless steel and neutral oak for 6 months prior to bottling.Tasting Notes:Attractive bright ruby color with a violet hue. On the nose scents of lavender and violet. On the pallet there is a smooth, rich attack with notes of blackcurrant and cherry finishing with liquorice notes. A 100% syrah wine, round and spicy with supple tannin. - Winery
