($65) Good ruby-red color. High-toned aromas of cassis, spices, tobacco and currant leaf, with a lightly herbal component. Penetrating, fruit-driven flavors of crushed dark berries, fresh herbs and chocolatey oak. But ultimately a bit hard-edged and ungiving despite its strong fruit element.
