Paul Dolan Vineyards Zinfandel California Mendocino/Amador 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine Tasting Notes The Mendocino County Zinfandel in this bottle includes fruit from the Dolan family's vineyard south of Talmage. Paul Dolan's old friend, Frank Alviso, provided the Amador County component for this wine. Mendocino County gives this wine its jammy berry quality. Amador County lends a distinctive peppery spice. Together these opposites attract into a perfect marriage.

Very bright red fruit and cocoa. Significant alcohol heat. Extremely long fruity finish with little oak. This wine is BERRYLICIOUS. Me likey. Do not decant as it will most likely fall apart in the decanter after an hour or so.
