Paul Cluver Riesling Elgin 2005

Member Review by tommyvino:

A pale yellow to straw yellow color with moderate aromas of wet rock, petrol, and jasmine flower. This Riesling is dry, medium heavy bodied, with lively acidity, and a long but not particularly interesting finish. The flavors were moderate with white peach, white nectarine, a distinct minerality, and oily texture. This is a dry but rich rich Riesling which on the nose is austere. It has plenty of acidity to match well with food. 2.5/5
