Patz and Hall Moses Hall Estate 2011

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

Fairly toasty on the nose with coffee oak layered over taut black cherry and wild briary lingonberry fruit. Nervous and taut in the mouth with some chewy tannin adding some cut to the otherwise very clear plate rich with ginger, licorice and black spice nuance. The fruit here is really pretty and gains more complexity on the black tea end of the spectrum on the long finish. 93pts
