More orange marmalade, pineapple, honeysuckle, and candied fruit aromas jump from the glass of the deep, full-bodied, elegant, mineral-laced 2007 Chardonnay Hyde Vineyard. The wood is pushed well to the background in this layered, well-textured offering. It should drink well for 5andndash;6 years.
A very good, delicious Chardonnay thatandrsquo;s easy to drink, and whose richness suggests shrimp, scallops, lobster and similarly rich fare. Dry and crisp in acidity, it wows with pineapple marmalade, crandegrave;me branducirc;landeacute;e, buttered toast, vanilla, honeysuckle and mineral flavors, brightened with zesty acidity.
Intense and snappy, featuring firm, vibrant, pear, melon, spice and hazelnut notes that are full-bodied and tightly wound, ending with a dash of marshmallow. This is still a touch coarse, so itandrsquo;s best to rest this one a few months. Best from 2010 through 2016.
Fragrant floral aromas, with firm, taut hazelnut, spice, green apple and lemon drop flavors that are rich yet elegant, deftly balanced and long and lingering on the finish. Drink now through 2009.
