Patrick Lesec Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Bargeton(2003)

Wine.com
June 2007
A blockbuster, the 2003 Chateauneuf du Pape Bargeton was aged 80% in wood barrels and 20% in tank. A blend of 78% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre, and a dollop of Cinsault, it offers up huge aromas of garrigue, ground pepper, kirsch, and roasted meats. Dark plum/purple-colored, heady, alcoholic, full-bodied, and enormously proportioned, this 2003 is meant for true hedonists. It should drink well for 10-12 years. -Wine Advocate
