A very intriguing vin de table from Domaine Le Briseau, a winery that works almost exclusively with Pineau d'Aunis, a native Loire grape variety. It is vinified according to the tenets of Practicing Organic winemaking: no sulfites are added at all, the wine undergoes no filtration, and fermentation is carried out entirely by naturally occurring indigenous yeasts. Decant and enjoy.
