Winemakers Notes

This is one of the six red Bordeaux varietals that grow well here in the new Alta Mesa, Lodi Apellation. This wine has been aged in 100% new French oak barrels for 46 months and has alot to offer. The aromas are of wild currants and ripe plums and a little sweet vanilla can be found on the mid-palate with a very balanced mouthfeel. This wine should age gracefully over time with careful cellaring. Pair with a Filet Mignon, Porterhouse, or grilled portabella mushroom. Limited Availability
