Paseo 67 Tempranillo 2010
Made with 100% old-vine Tempranillo grapes sourced from state-owned vineyards located in Alhambra, Ciudad Real, Spain. <br/>This handcrafted wine is the result of a unique expression of Tempranillo from the Castilla Region. Its three months ageing in oak barrels enhances the wine with an appealing mouth feel. Fresh red fruit with intense flavors make Paseo 67 Tempranillo a superb red for all occasions and cuisines!
I love 67 Wine, but this is not the best thing I've had from there. Campfire smoke and light sourness on the nose. It tastes fairly shiraz-like, with oak, smoke, boozy warmth, and some skin bitterness. Not great, but it is budget priced.
