Quite a piercing nose with some floral top notes, followed by quartzy mineral elements, a touch of unripe peach and some lightly tropical citrus fruit elements. Wonderfully balanced in the mouth, this has solid acidity and a thin layer of baby fat from ripeness all covering just unripe stone fruit and stony flavors. The back end really gets in a mineral groove that drives the moderately long finish. There’s plenty of acid here but it remains well covered until the finale when it pops with some lemony, faintly woodsy fruit. 89pts

A really refreshing crisp wine, perfect for grilling out some shellfish. Lots of minerality and stoneup front. In the middle and on the back-end, there are ample amounts of light citrus flavors that balance out the flavors, take the 'edge' off the strong, yet tasty, wet stone taste. Finishes is moderately long quite crisp and very refreshing.

A bony and mouthwatering style, with lots of flint framing the lime, chive and fleur de sel notes. Shows great cut on the finish. Drink now through 2012. 5,000 cases imported. -JM

Fresh and open-knit, with herb, citrus and flint notes that mingle through the finish.

Lively and bright notes of ripe tangerine and Kaffir lime feel sculpted and focused. It's fruity but not fat, the ripeness of the vintage well contained within its tightly wound structure.

Lively, with good citrus peel, herb and flint notes that stay crunchy and bright on the finish. Drink now.

Lots to like here, with citrus peel, straw, mineral, lemon curd and peach notes. This bouncy Sancerre has length, vibrancy and balance and begs for food. Delicious. Drink now through 2005.
