Representative of 10 single-vineyard parcels of Monforte d'Alba vineyards, the captivating and exotic fruits, spices and dried florals of the wine permeate your olfactory senses. The nose is a study in layered complexity with veiled and intricate pairings of warm red fruit and spiced persimmon. The aromas constantly shift, revealing a new wine each sniff. The palate reiterates the nose with additions of cherry leather, cola, smoke and spice cake and a complementary serving of tongue-polishing tannins. Sublime!
