Fruit for these wines comes partly from our Estate managed vineyards at Red Hill plus fruit purchased from a number of carefully selected vineyards from other sub-regions of the Mornington Peninsula. “The quality of these wines are often equal to many other vineyards best” (James Halliday) The fruit for these wines is from our mature low yielding Estate grown vineyards. I didn't see the vintage of the bottle I had, but it's fun to bring this one to a party. It's different and a real crowd pleaser. It's an intense wine to drink & not something you will really want to drink more than a glass of, but very fun to share this one with others.

Finally a Shiraz with more than just upfront fruit. Sure there's black berries and spice but also a fine backbone of acidity and just the right touch of tannins.
