Fruit for these wines comes partly from our Estate managed vineyards at Red Hill plus fruit purchased from a number of carefully selected vineyards from other sub-regions of the Mornington Peninsula. “The quality of these wines are often equal to many other vineyards best” (James Halliday) The fruit for these wines is from our mature low yielding Estate grown vineyards. A combination of vine age and careful vineyard management produces our best quality fruit. Between 30% and 50% new French Oak combined with the powerful fruit flavours produce the unique Paringa "style" upon which our reputation has been built. Read less

This was fantastic! Such a crowd-pleaser. Delicious ripe plums accentuated by a nice spiciness. And the bubbles make it fun!

I didn't see the vintage of the bottle I had, but it's fun to bring this one to a party. It's different and a real crowd pleaser. It's an intense wine to drink & not something you will really want to drink more than a glass of, but very fun to share this one with others.

So - this was a compromise with my partner who really loves Champagne. It came as a pleasant surprise. I was concerned that this would be headache inducing and sweet - but truly it's not. Like a nice light Shiraz - with the added fun of sparkles ... not a wine for every occasion - but when you just can't face champagne, give this a try.. you may be pleasantly surprised!

A spicy nose, characterized by white pepper and sweet Nevers oak. A full, rich Shiraz, the palate shows succulent, ripe fleshy berry fruit, generous oak and a soft tannin finish.

Finally a Shiraz with more than just upfront fruit. Sure there's black berries and spice but also a fine backbone of acidity and just the right touch of tannins.

Winemakers Notes - The drought limited winter rains and threatened growing season water supply. Resultant yield reductions ensured optimum maturity in flavor, aroma and tannin profiles and an Australian record 15 consecutive day heat wave amplified the richness and intensity.

This Shiraz offers so much more than just upfront fruit. Sure, there are blackberries and spice, but you'll also appreciate the fine backbone of acidity, and just the lightest touch of tannin.

The dense ruby-colored 2001 Shiraz displays loads of fruit in a bigger style, with copious quantities of glycerin and spice. Made from young vines and surprisingly high yields (nine tons of fruit per acre), there are 20,000 cases of the delicious Shiraz, one of the finest values for this vintage in the marketplace. Drink it over the next 1ndash;2 years.

Smooth and generous, an inviting red thatrsquo;s plump with black cherry, blackberry and exotic spice flavors, hinting at dark chocolate as the flavors persist on the fine-grained finish. Outstanding wine for an outstanding price. Drink now through 2004.
