Jordi Masdeu and Sergi Montala started this tiny operation in 2007, with the sole objective of making handmade boutique wines in the DO of Conca de Barbera. The Parellada grape usually goes to the production of Cava, but with tiny yields and lots of hard work in the winery, they also produce stunning white wines. The wines have already proved to be a huge success in Spain and are now available in limited supply to the UK from Great Wines Direct Grapes : 95% Parellada, 5% Muscat Region : Spain / Conca de Barbera / Barbera de la Conca, Makers : Jordi Masdeu and Sergi Montala Notes : A clean amber colour with aromas of fresh floral notes and intense ffesh fruit flavours with great balance of fruit and acidity through to a clean fresh finish Serve : Perfect as an aperitif, with ensalads, pasta and fish dishes ABV : 12% Suitable for Vegetarians
