Parducci Small Lot Blend Petite Sirah Mendocino County 2008

Member Review by EMark:

Nice dark dark color. Initial whiff seemed "yeasty," but that quickly dispersed--followed by some cherry, some volatile things. Cherry fruit is, again, noticeable on the tip of the tongue, then some woody things as it rolls over the tongue. Some tannin on the edges. This is a fairly full bodied wine, that I think will go with various accompaniments. I am going to be having it with pita wrapped bratwurst in about an hour. US$8.99 at Total WInes.
