Winemaker's Notes:

Percentage Grape: Rhine Riesling, White Muscadel.<br/><br/>Soil: Well drained alluvial sand/stone soil.<br/><br/>Growing Climate: 12 year old vines on 4-wire Perold trellising system. Drip irrigation controlled by a computer system through meters and tensiometers.<br/><br/>Type of Harvest: Harvesting is done by hand and machine. Advantage of the machine is that harvesting can be done at night when the grapes are cooler and the result thereof is better quality. Harvested at 22 degrees Balling. Yield 15 tons per hectare.<br/><br/>Vinification Method: Style : White Muscadel delivers the foaming goods : creamy and sweetish to this semi-sweet blended fruity sparkling wine. Vinification : Artificial injection of carbon dioxide into the wine takes place. The wine and the syrup are chilled and the carbon dioxide is administered through a porus "candle". This then dissolves in the wine. It is stored in pressure resistant tanks, filtered and bottled under pressure. R/S 36g/l<br/><br/>Bottle Type: Green Sparkling Wine<br/><br/>Alcohol Percentage: 11.5 %<br/><br/>PH: 3.5<br/><br/>Sugar Rate: 13-50 g/l<br/><br/>Total Acidity: 6.3 g/l
