Paolo Manzone Barbera d'Alba Fiorenza 2009

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

Seared cherry fruit, mint, hot rocks and very spicy raw wood greet the nose. This has blazing acidity and just enough fruit and flesh to keep it covered. There’s not a lot of depth of flavors, just some modest plum and red currant fruit, but it’s a likeable duo framed with some spicy oak and a hint of mint. Finishes with a bit of fruit and some stemmy, raw wood, but it’s short. 78pts

Paolo Manzone:
Luisella e Gian Paolo are the landly and the landlord who will be glad to receive you to spend a nice holiday in the Langhe. They will suggest interesting routes around the countryside and you will be able to taste the wines producted in their wine farm
