What to Expect

The classic Bordeaux blends rely on either Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon for the bulk of the wine with additions of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec helping to add complexity, color, body and structure to the finished wine.

Winemakers Notes

LA restaurateur Gianni Paoletti bought a vineyard across the street from Cuvaison in 1989, and promptly replanted to the Bordeaux red varietals. His meritage is 100% estate, muscular but elegant. Aged for two years in new and used French oak, this intense blend of 42% cabernet sauvignon, 37% merlot, 16% malbec and 5% cabernet franc is a prime candidate for your decanter!
