Very dark in color; seemed a bit stronger than other reds. I have no idea what malbec means, other than possibly "pretty tasty".
Not a typical Argentine fruit bomb. More akin to a Cahors than a new world wine. Much better than the $10 or so price would indicate. At 14% alcohol, it was a little "hot" immediately upon opening. I'd rate it in the mid-to high 80s on a more traditional scale.
I got this tasty wine for eleven bucks and had it with grilled strip steak. Yum.
