Pannotia Garnacha(2006)

Garnacha is the world’s second most widely planted grape, and occupies almost as much Spanish vineyard acreage as Spain’s better known grape, Tempranillo. Garnacha is called Grenache by the rest of the world, but though it’s best known in France’s Chateauneuf-du-Pape, it should be called by its Spanish name, its place of origin.

I first had a taste of this from a Pannotia sales rep who was giving out free samples at my grocery store. I don't know what it is about this one, but it is my new favorite red, and it is cheap!
