Domaines Bouteiller lies in the commune de Cussac-Fort Médoc, in the heart of the Haut-Médoc, and consists of three internationally known estates, Château Lanessan, Château Lachesnaye and Château de Sainte Gemme. Domaines Bouteiller extends over 380 hectares, 70 of which are planted with vines, which belong to the ‘Groupement Foncier Agricole des Domaines Bouteiller’ and are run by the ‘Société Civile d’Exploitation Agricole Delbos-Bouteiller’. All the shareholders in these entities are members of the Bouteiller family. Perfumed red, with floral, currant and dark chocolate aromas. Medium-bodied, with firm tannins and a medium finish. Delicate red. Best after 2004. 23,330 cases made. Wine Spectator. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2000 Lanessan 750ml

A delicious, complex effort, the fully mature 2000 Lanessan offers notes of cedarwood, plums, loamy soil, and damp earth, medium to full body, plenty of spice, and a classic Bordeaux personality. It should drink well for another 7-10 years.
