Panarroz is the classic Spanish super value- costs $12, tastes like $25. Since the first vintage in 2003 wine lovers have been lining up for this lush, ripe red that shows character, versatility and value. This 2010 is a plush blend of 60% Monastrell, 30% Syrah and 10% Garnacha, but the secret to this wine's complexity is the low yields of the 30 year old Monastrell vines. Averaging just over 2 tons per acre this concentrated, rich fruit brings a dense core of dark plummy fruit and peppery spice. With a supple, silky texture and mouthfeel, Panarroz is easy to match with your favorite foods while the price makes it easy to enjoy on an every day basis.
