Pallagrello Nero Vestini Campagnano(2004)

Tasting Notes: This is a wine that is matured in barrique for at least a year, in which only its tannins cause a initial potent shock; then one feels, first in the nose and then on the palate, a powerful explosion of flavours from different and fully ripe fruits; all this create san unexpected bilance in a wine so powerfully structured; even for export palates this wine can reveal a complexity and a dynamism beyond any expectations.

Percentage Grape: 100 % Pallagrello Autochthonous Grape

One of the biggest, burliest wines you're going to come across anywhere! Brutally charming with a nose that never ends - exotic spices, plums and forest fruit, mulberry and black tea. The palate grabs you and stuffs in bushels of stewed black fruits, bitter chocolate, Dutch licorice and cardamom. All of this weight is amazingly offset with an acidity that allows hints of blood orange, bergamot and cedar to texturally complicate the flavors. Dynamic tannins and a presence that is beyond expectations. The muscularity is immense, so make certain you are sitting down before taking a bite out of this one.
