Palandri Western Australia Cabernet-Merlot 2002

External Review by Shop Wine Direct:

Roughly two-thirds Cab and one-third Merlot, this red wears a judicious amount of oak, and is drinking well now. At its core is black cherry and plum fruit. Its chalk-clay feel persists through the finish, as does a ribbon of fresh eucalyptus. It's a solid, well-made wine.(Wine Enthusiast)Winery NotesThis classic Western Australian blend has aromas of plum, blackberry, and violet. On the palate, it is intense and concentrated, with herbal black berry accents. Soft tannins lend a velvety smoothness, creating layers of flavor and a long, lingering finish.
