Auge: Altgoldene Robe, mit lindengrünen Reflexen; Nase: Aromatische Komplexität, blumig, frisch, mit intensiver Frucht; Gaumen: Frisch, rund, vollmundig, von schöner Statur, mit angenehm anhaltendem Säuregehalt; Finale: Schöner, geschmeidiger Abgang mit viel Charakter

Winemaker's Notes:

This is a fresh white wine with a crisp acidity. It is a good example of Verdejo from DO Rueda.

Tasting Notes:

With the best Verdejo we expect both texture and complexity along with a vibrant, lemony citrus character and a healthy dose of pear. With Bornos, two fun things happen as well: it exhibits little of the grassy notes found in some Verdejo (or its occasional amigas Viura or Sauvignon Blanc), and the finish has a fascinating, almost tangible pear-skin note.
