Vermentino, also known as Rolle in France, commonly comes from the island of Sardinia off the coast of Italy, where it produces light white wines redolent of lemon and lime leaves with an almost salty mineral twang.

Pala's roots go deep into the land of Sardinia. It was in Serdiana that Salvatore Pala began this extraordinary adventure in 1950: an adventure which he continues today, even after handing the reins over to his son Mario. A fresh young wine with good intensity, showing crisp, clean notes of apple, pear, citrus and herbs.
