Barbaresco balance and finesse without need to pay the Barbaresco/Barolo Tax. A low-yield Nebbiolo from just outside of the Barbaresco zone. Paitin produces wines of beauty that easily surpass the appellation's standards. Currant, cherry, truffle, forest floor and smooth, delicate oak influence.

    Full bodied and aromatic, with mouth watering tannins. Spicy, with dark fruit and flowers. Really needs time to breath - at least an hour, but after 3 hours in the decanter it really got terrific.
