Really good Italian white. Fresh and crisp, great balance, nice white stone fruit flavor with just a hint of smoke, very enjoyable.
This poured from the bottle very purple, giving me some pause as to what was to follow. And my first sip or two after decanting was a bit dusty, but given hand an hour or so in the air and each sip got better and better. This is a good wine, that begins very much with a prune flavor, and follows with lilac and mild herbs, finishing with a very satisfying and mild mineral bitterness. I'm having it this evening with a lentil and beef suasage stew, and the two are doing well together.
