- Medium ruby. Nuanced nose combines plum, woodsmoke, earth and sweet oak scents. Supple and nicely concentrated, with flavors of plum, herbs and oak. Not especially vibrant but shows good texture and intensity. Finishes with slightly peppery tannins, a hint of unabsorbed acidity and a note of licorice. I'd give this wine another 12 to 18 months to knit.
