A bit restrained in flavor (though undoubtedly ripe), with a mix of spicy pear, apple and cedary oak flavors that are well-balanced and pleasing. Rich and concentrated, the flavors aren't as persistent or complex on the finish. Drink now through 2008... Wine Spectator. A rich, opulent, superripe style with a flash of heat that robs it of a bit of finesse, but there's no shortage of flavor packed into this wine, with layers of ripe fig, cedar and apricot, finishing with a dash of toasty oak.
