Food Pairings for Owen Roe Syrah Chapel Block
From one of Washington's best vineyards, this should please any Syrah fan. Black pepper, blueberries, and smoke in the nose. More black fruit on the palate, cedar, and mocha. Nice velvety tannins.
The deep plum hue is the first hint of the opulence found in this 2010 Syrah. Chapel Block aficionados will not be disappointed when tasting this magnificent wine. Flavors of cranberry, pomegranate and cherry are enhanced with layers of ash, blueberry and black pepper, which lead to supple tannins and a trace of chocolate, blackberry and coffee. After several highly acclaimed vintages of this limited production Syrah, we are very pleased to release yet another beautiful wine from the Red Willow Vineyard! Enjoy now through 2020+
