Owen Roe Riesling Yakima Valley Dubrul Vineyard 2011

Since our first vintage in 1999, Owen Roe winery has been working to produce exceptional, hand crafted wines. We are especially committed to the low vigor hillside vineyards of Yakima Valley Washington. These vineyards yield fruit with low pH and high acidity, both harbingers of age-able wines.

Add your reviewVery floral nose, citrus, some grapefruit maybe. Seemed somewhat young, with the flavors not really pulling through yet. Still a very nice white, with solid acidty, and nice sugar levels. This one is built to last! Very Good/Excellent - 87 points.
Consistent with prior tasting notes. Floral, sweet, with nice citrus fruit.
This is the second bottle I've had that has been over the hill. Nice carmelized and mineral nose, a little like Trimbach Cuvee Emile. Unfortunately, the flavors are totally dried out and sour. I plead ignortance to West Coast Rieslings, but I suspect they do not have sufficient acidity for long keeping (unlike the French). Better for drinking under five years of age. By comparison, the 97 Trimbach Cuvee Emile was a lovely wine, drinking nicely this spring

The 2006 Riesling DuBrul Vineyard delivers a perfume of spring flowers, petrol, and white fruits. On the palate there is a touch of residual sugar with enough acidity for balance. This Kabinett-style Riesling can be enjoyed over the next several year... Robert Parker. A Riesling wine from Washington in USA. 2006 Owen Roe Riesling Dubrul Vineyard 750ml
