37.9% Merlot, 20.7% Cabernet Franc, 41.4% Cabernet Sauvignon

DuBrul Vineyard, Red Willow Vineyard, and Slide Mountain Vineyard from the cooler, western end of the Yakima Valley have provided the Merlot and Cabernet Franc fruit in this wine. The warmer Elerding Vineyard farther east gave us the tasty and ripe Cabernet Sauvignon. The Yakima Valley Red Wine is designed to showcase that a world-class Merlot and Cabernet Franc based Bordeaux blend can be obtained from this remarkable growing area.

David O'Reilly is up to the task of making some of the best wines coming out of the Pacific Northwest. His Red Wine sources Merlot and Cabernet Franc from three vineyards in the cooler, western end of the Yakima Valley and Cabernet Sauvignon from a site on the east side.
